The Piano PlayTogether is a group ensemble experience for members’ students. Groups of students perform various levels of repertoire directed by a conductor. The benefits of an ensemble experience are numerous: group dynamics, the challenges of coordinating parts, common goals, following a conductor, listening for balance, keeping a steady beat, continuous playing, enhancement of counting skills, and the resulting wonderful sound of several pianos playing.
This event, held every three years, will next occur in 2013.
