What is MAPTA?

This year, 2008-2009, marks our “Ruby” 40th celebration of serving the Madison, WI piano community.

Our mission is:

  • To promote high piano teaching standards through self-evaluation, discussion and action.
  • To improve and expand the opportunities for all music students in the Madison area through participation in numerous MAPTA events.
  • To increase public awareness of quality professional music education. To foster growth and enrichment in the cultural and artistic life of the entire community.
