The MAPTA membership year begins June 1, 2011, and
ends May 31, 2012. MAPTA has several types of memberships.
The membership directory as well as the membership application form may be found online at our website: MadisonPianoTeachers.org. Changes or corrections to directory listings and new memberships received after the MAPTA Directory is printed will be published in Nuances and in the January addendum.
The membership application is available online!
- Active Piano Teachers (ACT) is reserved for those professionals who are actively teaching in the Madison area.
- Institutional membership (INS) is for organizations that provide a piano education department.
- Associate Membership (ASM) is for piano technicians, music dealers without an education department, teachers not presently teaching, and teachers who live outside the Madison area.
- Student Members (STM) are students of a university, college or high school.

Dues paid by May 31
- Active (ACT): $48
- Institutional (INS): $105
- Associate (ASM): $30
- Student Members (STM): $25
Dues paid after June 1
- Active (ACT): $60
- Institutional (INS): $130
- Associate (ASM): $35
- Student Members (STM): $25
An additional fee is charged for members who wish to receive a paper copy of Nuances, our monthly newsletter.
